My Country: The Musical Life of Rafael Kubelik

The Czech conductor Rafael Kubelik was loved by the orchestras he worked with for his musical ability and his treatment of musicians. However he lived through some of the most traumatic events of the 20th Century in Central Europe and when he moved to the West faced hostility and prejudice.
