Lynne Plummer’s talk isn’t about young musicians from the past, like Mozart and his sister, the Mendelssohns and so forth. No, it’s about enthusiastic and gifted young people of nowadays. She talks to candidates for choir schools, an organiser from the headquarters of the grade examinations, a conductor or two and we’ll also hear music played by members of the London Schools Symphony Orchestra and the National Youth Orchestra of Wales. There might be some musical surprises along the way as well.
